VQ PROFILE ASSESSMENT
Understanding How You Think Changes Everything
Your success isn’t limited by what you know or what you can do. It’s shaped by how you think, where you place your attention, how you make meaning, form judgments, prioritize decisions, and perceive opportunities and challenges.
Most assessments tell you about personality, behavior, or how others see you. The VQ Assessment reveals how you actually think, and shows you how to leverage your cognitive strengths and avoid blind spots that limit your performance.
When you understand your thinking, you make better decisions, communicate more effectively, and lead with clarity and impact.
What the VQ Assessment Reveals
The VQ Assessment is the objective, scientifically-validated tool that measures how you make value judgments and prioritize information. It examines your thinking from 36 perspectives, revealing:
Cognitive Assets – Where your thinking is clearest and most effective
Cognitive Biases – Patterns of over-attention that create your blind spots
Thinking Liabilities – Areas of under-attention that limit your effectiveness
Decision Patterns – How you prioritize, evaluate, and respond to complexity
Communication – How your thinking shapes how you connect with others
This isn’t about labeling you or putting you in a “type.” It’s about understanding the unique ways you process information, make decisions, and lead, so you can leverage your strengths and navigate around limitations.
Why the VQ Assessment Is Different
Scientifically Validated
The VQ Assessment is built on the research of Dr. Robert Hartman (nominated for the Nobel Prize) and validated by leading researchers worldwide for decades. Patrick integrates the latest advancements in neuroscience and psychology to dramatically increase the practical value of these insights.
Objective and Precise
Unlike personality tests that rely on self-reporting, the VQ Assessment measures how you actually think, not how you think you think, how you want to be perceived, or how you think others see you.
Immediately Actionable
Results include specific strategies for accessing your best thinking, avoiding cognitive traps, improving decision-making and relationships, and creating more valuable outcomes in work and life.
Reveals What Others Can’t
The VQ Assessment displays thinking patterns that personality profiles, behavioral assessments, interviews, and resumes cannot capture, giving you unprecedented insight into yourself, your team, and candidates.

FACTS
The Assessment is a diagnosis of how and how well you think from 36 axiological perspectives. Depending on the day, you have 12,000 – 50,000 thoughts, all “processed” through one or a combination of these 36 scientifically-definable perspectives.
Using the “short scale” number system, the VQ Assessment has 36 categories with 4.1+ undecillion possible results. This is 4,102,069,800,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 different ways to rank order, providing clarify in how you think.
Each perspective or “lens” is part of the “meaning-making, value-judging, story-telling, habit-dominated” machine in your unique “mind.” The assessment is extremely accurate, even if you do not initially agree with everything in your report.
It is possible that some of what the assessment suggests may not show up for you due to: (a) developed compensating habits or behaviors, or (b) the bias is simply a non-issue or not a liability at the moment, due to your current circumstances.
The better you understand yourself and your team, the more effectively you can lead, make better decisions, and take action that enables you to more easily achieve what you want to accomplish.
